Pre Tour A: Brønnøysund - The Helgeland Coast - Vuoggatjålme - Arjeplog – Harads - Gunnarsbyn - Brändön - Haparanda

Join us for a scenic trip that blends the beauty of the Norwegian Helgeland coast with the charm of Swedish Lapland hospitality. May 29 – June 2, 2026

We begin in Brønnøysund, the gateway to Helgeland’s thousands of islands, exploring the Trollfjell Global Geoparkand hiking the iconic Torghatten mountain before enjoying dinner with fjord views.

The next day, we sail on a private yacht along the Helgeland coast, visiting the UNESCO-listed Vega Archipelago, walking the Vega Stairs trails, and seeing traditional life at Stavsmarken Farm. We continue to Sandnessjøen to explore a Viking Chiefdom site and end the day in historic Mosjøen, hiking the Helgeland Stair, trying a zipline, strolling Sjøgata, and dining on local specialties.

After two days of immersive coastal adventure, we cross into Sweden where we start with a lunch in Vuoggatjålme, located on the Arctic Circle and surrounded by striking mountain views. From there, we make our way to Arjeplog, where we visit the Silvermuseet  to gain insights into the region’s heritage, and tourism development.

Our next stop is Harads, home of the world-renowned Treehotel. Here, we’ll enjoy a guided site inspection, followed by dinner and an overnight stay among the treetops. The following morning, we continue with a visit to Arctic Retreat, an intimate hideaway surrounded by forest and river, before heading out on a Floating Safari Camp experience complete with a relaxed lunch in nature.

In the afternoon, we’ll transfer to Brändön Lodge by the coast, where we’ll spend the night. After breakfast, we’ll meet Discover Nordic Adventures for a kennel visit to learn about their year-round dog sled operations, followed by a visit and lunch at Norrbottens Distilleri, where craft, creativity, and local flavors take center stage.

Our final drive takes us to Haparanda, where we’ll settle into our hotels before gathering in the evening for a get-together dinner with the full AETC Sales Workshop group — the perfect opportunity to reconnect and share impressions from our journey across the north.

Pre Tour B: Tromsø - Hasvik - Kautokeino - Övertorneå – Haparanda

Description:

Join us on a journey through the Arctic, from the dramatic coast of Northern Norway to the cultural heart of Sápmi and onward to the borderlands of the heart of Lapland. May 29 – June 2, 2026

We meet in Tromsø airport, where participants arrive individually. There is no official program in Tromsø unless you choose to extend your stay on your own. From here, we travel together by flight to Hasvik, our gateway to the island of Sørøya, one of the world’s top Arctic deep-sea fishing destinations, known for its genuine Northern Norwegian hospitality.
We settle in for two nights at Big Fish Adventure, surrounded by raw coastal landscapes, endless daylight and the calm rhythm of life by the sea. Here you can fill your eyes with wild Arctic nature, your belly with the freshest fish straight from the ocean, and your day with new fishing skills.

On Sunday morning we depart by ferry and continue by bus, leaving the ocean behind as we cross vast northern landscapes towards Kautokeino, the cultural heart of Sápmi. Here, we meet with Destination Sápmi and local suppliers for storytelling and conversations that help us understand the soul of the place. We take part in a Sámi cultural experience, including storytelling and a shared lunch, and also visit Juhls’ Silver Gallery, an iconic creative studio where craftsmanship, culture and contemporary design come together.

After a well-deserved rest, our journey continues east into the
heart of Lapland. Along the way, we pause at the Arctic Circle Monument in Juoksengi, before continuing to Kattilakoski for a deep taste of northern flavors and food culture.

We continue to Övertorneå for a hands-on craft experience rooted in local tradition, and we conclude the day as we follow the Torne River north to
Kukkolaforsen, where we check in and enjoy dinner in atmospheric surroundings shaped by the sound of the rapids.

On our final day, we continue exploring life along the Torne River Valley, with visits to small-scale local producers and insight into local ways of living, before concluding the journey in time for the networking dinner of the Sales Workshop.
